Catching the train from Bergamo to Varenna
If Italy's cheap train travel is your preference, then hop on the bus outside of the departure terminal bound for the 15 min journey to Bergamo Train Station. Take the train for Lecco where you must change trains for Sondrio/Tirano. Depending on which train you catch, Varenna is between 1.10 - 1.38 mins away. (Note: Be careful not to get on the train to Lecce which is city in Puglia!)
