CASA VARENNA
Casa Varenna is only 30m from the lake, 100m from the main square, a 10-15 min walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk from the ferry dock, following 'La Passerella', the romantic lakeside path.
Anybody who knows Varenna, will appreciate the combination of charm and town accessibility, via road, ferry and the railway station.
This allows those who do not wish to hire a car, to arrive by boat or train. Without a car, the need to stay central is very important, as Lake Como is surrounded by steep hillsides.

Varenna is often called the 'Pearl of Como', extremely picturesque and infinitely spectacular!
Varenna has a number of popular and not so well known restaurants!. Some of these restaurants are based in hotels and some tucked away down the cobbled back streets of Varenna or on the water front. Wherever you eat, you will enjoy the cuisine and local ambience whatever!
We have named our personal favourite restaurants: Il Cavatappi, Ristorante La Vista, Osteria Quatro Pass, Bar Ristorante Lido Beach, Ristorante Nuova Isola 1169 and more besides.
